1. Our approach
Space and geospatial businesses need security that keeps services running and stands up to customers, licensors and regulators. Codec Networks works on four principles:
- Follow the command and data paths: every engagement traces who and what can command a satellite, change a ground network or terminal, or reach customer data, from supplier code and engineering laptops to antennas, management planes, cloud platforms and APIs.
- Test safely and lawfully: ground systems, networks and platforms are tested in agreed windows that protect live passes and services, and any radio frequency or link testing is performed only with authorisation, in controlled environments, under the applicable licences and permissions.
- Watch the ground, the network and the cloud together: ground station, NMS, mission control, cloud, API and identity monitoring sit in one SOC so that an unusual command, update or vendor session is seen in context.
- Prove it: findings mapped to the Space Policy and IN-SPACe's norms, telecom licence conditions and the Telecom Cyber Security Rules, CERT-In's Directions and audit guidelines, geospatial data rules, the DPDP Act and customer and partner contracts.

Codec Networks does not provide space authorisation, spectrum or licensing advice, and any radio frequency or link testing is performed only with authorisation, in controlled environments, under the applicable licences and permissions. |
